Introduction

The Infiniti G37 sedan and coupe may sit at the bottom of Infiniti’s lineup, but they are the most entertaining of all the company’s models. Serious horsepower, refined manners, and excellent handling make the G37 sedan and coupe strong players in their segments. Larger than their German competition from Mercedes-Benz and BMW, the Infinitis also offer more standard horsepower than the Europeans. The rear-drive chassis, closely related to Nissan’s 370Z sports car, offers responsive and entertaining handling that will impress even the most die-hard sports-car enthusiast. For those who suffer through harsh winters, the G37x (both coupe and sedan) adds all-wheel drive.

Infiniti bringing FX37 to Paris, no FX37 for the U.S.

FX 37We’ve just gotten confirmation that Infiniti will equip its European FX series crossover with the 330 hp, 3.7-liter V6 (VQ37VHR) and it’s slated to make its world debut at the Paris Motor Show next month.

Infiniti has decided to only offer the 3.7-liter V6 on its range of vehicles abroad, and there are no plans to bring the FX37 Stateside.

Infiniti adds G37 convertible, updates coupe and sedan

Infiniti is adding a convertible to its G series lineup and will unveil it in November at the Los Angeles auto show.

For those who can’t wait that long, Infiniti is doing a photo reveal on Aug. 16 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Here’s what we know: It will be called the G37 convertible, it will have a retractable, three-piece hardtop and powertrain configurations will be in line with the rest of the G lineup.
